Who shoots it
Shortgrass Visuals is led by Bailey Chastang, founder of Bailey Chastang Photography and an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot based in Daphne. He shoots golden hour stills, hole by hole flyovers and short vertical clips for social, all across the Gulf Coast.
What you get
- Hole flyovers you can use on your website, in your booking flow and on social.
- Golden hour course photography: greens, fairways, the clubhouse, the view from the first tee.
- Short vertical videos sized for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Photos for your Google Business Profile, which helps you stand out on the map.
- Event coverage for outings, member guests and tournaments, if you want it.
- A shot list and editing style that matches the rest of your marketing.
Why it’s worth it
Stock photos and five year old phone pictures don’t sell tee times. When someone is choosing between three courses on Google Maps, real photos of your course in good light make the decision easy. And once we have a library of your course, every campaign we send has fresh visuals to work with for months. That’s a big part of how we help courses show up on Google Maps.
Where we shoot
On the Gulf Coast, from Mobile and Baldwin County to Pensacola and Destin, Bailey shoots in person. Outside our drive radius, we line up a vetted local golf photographer and drone pilot and hand them our exact shot list and editing style, so your content still looks like Shortgrass work.
Safety and permissions
Every flight is planned around your tee sheet and your staff, and flown under FAA Part 107 rules. We check the airspace before every shoot. Courses near airports and bases sometimes need extra authorization, so we sort that out ahead of time.
Book it on its own or with a partnership
